While Texas is a prosperous state for families and businesses, there is still work to be done to ensure that our success continues, and that freedom remains bigger in Texas. Our state has grown into the 7th largest economy in the world, home to 52 Fortune 500 companies. This immense economic prosperity has been fueled by decades of good policy, creating a business-friendly environment where our low tax climate enables people to keep more of their hard-earned money and live a life of abundance. However, to maintain this momentum, we must confront emerging threats and adopt key reforms to secure Texas' future.

Local governments’ massive debt and runaway spending are driving up property taxes and living costs, jeopardizing the economic freedom that Texas is known for. We cannot allow unchecked spending and excessive regulations to stifle the growth that has made Texas a beacon for families and businesses.
