Earlier this year during the 2025 legislative session that runs from Jan -May politicians like your representative introduced HJR25-1023 which attempted to eliminate the community favored law, The Taxpayers Bill of rights also known as TABOR. Fortunately, with the help of our efforts and volunteers we were able to stop politicians from eliminating it.

HJR25-1023, attempted to eliminate the following protections:

· Taxpayers Bill of Rights- TABOR

Ensuring transparency and accountability
Gives Coloradans a direct voice on state-wide tax increases.
TABOR tax refunds from over-collected revenue.

Furthermore, HJR25-1023 would disproportionately harm Hispanic families and small business owners alike. We need to hold lawmakers accountable for attempting to eliminate protections on our hard-earned money and our voice.
