Colorado families all across our state are feeling burdened with the cost of living going up. We are feeling the costs of inflation, groceries, gas and now utilities. Temperatures in Colorado dropped to freezing cold and our utility bill skyrocketed this winter. Summer is just around the corner and families will see their utility bills skyrocket as they try to keep cool in the hot summer heat. All these costs are not sustainable. Enough is enough. We can not continue to pay more and get less. Utilities should not become a luxury. I am asking you to please vote NO on any proposed utility rate increases to protect Colorado ratepayers.

With the rising cost of everything Coloradans are keeping less and less of their income. Utility bills are skyrocketing thanks to rate increases approved by Colorado's Public Utilities Commission (P.U.C). You see, in order for companies like Xcel Energy to raise your utility rates, they need approval from the P.U.C.

It is time to tell the P.U.C. that enough is enough! Email the commission and tell them you cannot afford to pay for anymore rate increases on your utility bill.

Colorado’s Public Utilities Commission (P.U.C.). consists of appointees from the Governor who get to decide whether utility rates changed get approved or not. One observer described the P.U.C. as “one of the most powerful state agencies that no one's ever heard of.”
