I’m urging you to prioritize economic growth by putting an end to the reckless spending and antiquated regulations that are forcing everyday Americans – including the Latino community – to drain their savings accounts and live paycheck to paycheck to afford skyrocketing gas, housing, and food costs.
Historically high inflation rates are costing the average American household over $460 more a month – that's over $5,520 this year! While average wages may be slightly higher than last year, this enormous inflation tax means Americans are actually taking home almost three percent less this year.
All Americans are getting hurt by this economic disaster. But Latino Americans are particularly concerned about the impact this crisis is having on our families.
According to recent polling, inflation is now the number one concern among Latino Americans, beating out both crime and foreign conflicts. In fact, in one national poll, 78% of Hispanic voters stated that they felt the economy is on the wrong track.
The more money the U.S. government prints and pumps into our economy, the worse the situation becomes. Yet Washington continues to use the pandemic, corporate greed, and geopolitical instability to justify more runaway spending.
President Biden’s budget proposal for 2023 would hike spending by $1.5 trillion over the next decade even though $700 billion from the previous COVID spending bills remains unspent.
It’s time for our government to take accountability for the out-of-control-spending and burdensome regulations that are behind higher costs. Removing antiquated regulations, unleashing energy abundance, and stopping out-of-control spending will give Americans financial security and empower them to achieve the American Dream.

The slow economy and inflation that Latinos – and all Americans – are witnessing is a direct result of reckless government spending and burdensome regulations affecting our economy.

Our community in particular is being slammed by this crisis. According to recent polling, inflation is now the number one concern among Hispanics, beating out both crime and foreign conflicts.
